Final Medical Elements
Part of the upcoming film "Invitation" from Gorehallow features some scenes in a medical facility. We'll be editing the finished monitor effects on to real physical old time monitors so each element will be comprised of a "normal state", "escalating state", and an "emergency state".
This is the final look of the medical systems elements in order.

Part of the upcoming film "Invitation" from Gorehallow features some scenes in a medical facility. We'll be editing the finished monitor effects on to real physical old time monitors so each element will be comprised of a "normal state", "escalating state", and an "emergency state".
Once again we used Adobe AfterEffects to create the main part of the elements and scanlines. Also used was Blender to create the 3D elements. It's very likely that I could have done the whole thing in AfterEffects but , well, I simply didn't know how!.
Gorehallow Title Video
I remember watching horror movies in the 80's and 90's and there were just some studio title videos that let you know you were going to have a really good Friday night.
I wanted to bust out some Adobe AfterEffects tutorials and try to recreate that look and feel if even in some small way. Something cool we can slap on the beginning of the videos we do from here on out.
